"This agreement is essential for utilizing the potential of space technology within the synergy of Latvia's security and defense industries. Cooperation with the Latvian Space Industry Association will allow us to develop innovative solutions more quickly and strengthen cooperation opportunities at both national and international levels," says Elīna Egle-Ločmele, Chairwoman of the Board of "DAIF Latvia."

The agreement also foresees closer cooperation with the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Agency, the European Commission's Directorate-General for Defence Industry and Space, the European Defence Agency, and the European Space Agency, as well as specialized organizations to ensure Latvia's industry contribution to international security and the development of competitiveness.

"Space technology development is crucial for Latvia's economic growth and national security.
