Earning a bachelor's degree is the first step to a career in the space industry, not only as an astronaut, but also in other exciting fields. Here are three courses of study that can help launch a career in the space industry:

Physics and mathematics

A physics degree gives insight into the properties, structure and motion of matter, as well as its behavior in time and space. The branches of physics include astronomy and astrophysics, which study the workings and structure of the universe. A physics degree can lead to a variety of science-related careers in the aerospace industry. Mathematics, on the other hand, is essential for observing, exploring and understanding the cosmos.

Aeronautics and Engineering
