As part of 5G Techritory 2023, the Latvian Council of Science together with the Federation of Security and Defence Industries of Latvia and Ministry of Education and Science Latvia will host a co-creation event about civil security and cyber security for Horizon Europe projects. The aim of the event is to foster opportunities for international cooperation, collaboration and consortia building for Horizon Europe projects.
The ambassador of the event is the State Fire and Rescue Service of Republic of Latvia and high-level cybersecurity and communications expert David Lund will set a vision for current challenges and opportunities in civil security and cybersecurity area.
The co-creation event will feature presentations about current and future project calls and work group discussions on topics of Horizon Europe program Cluster 3 "Civil security and Cybersecurity":
- Resilient Infrastructure;
- Increased Cybersecurity;
- Effective management for EU external borders;
- Disaster-Resilient Society for Europe;
- Better protection for the EU and its Citizens against Crime and Terrorism
- Strengthened Security Research and Innovation.
We're excited to gather experts from government, industry and academia for engaging sessions that incorporate the themes of resilient infrastructure, cybersecurity, disaster-resilient society. Strengthening resilience gives opportunities for businesses and academia to make solutions for public challenges.
