Researchers' night activities are offered by the Turības' IT studies department, which invites everyone who likes excitement and wants to explore the wide world of IT! No in-depth IT knowledge is required to participate in the activities.
Event program:
- Robotics master classes (in the computer classroom - in the C111 auditorium) Get to know the Internet of Things by combining design with programming
- Master class "While some are looking for a snack, you have a snack" (in the computer classroom - A410 auditorium) Try the first steps in programming! Maybe it excites you and you will want to learn more about coding!
- Demonstrations of "Thought reading" (in the IT laboratory - auditorium C210) Watch the demonstrations of the device created in the Turība IT laboratory - it is the first IT control system approach to a unique device in Latvia that reads the brain's low-frequency radio waves and can use it to control the device, making it move in different directions , thus connecting technology with the human mind. This device has received a patent in Latvia.
- Portrait with the eye of an artificial intelligence (in the creative DigiCom room - auditorium C110) Imagine yourself as a specialist in a profession and tell it to the artificial intelligence. See how artificial intelligence will see you in the future!
- IT knowledge laboratory (in the quiet reading room) Test your knowledge in the IT field and receive nice prizes if you win
- Step into virtual reality! (in auditorium C214 / IKTL) Get into virtual reality using special virtual reality glasses and walk around the university!
- The new innovation "Microclimate" (Graffiti in the lobby) within the framework of IT studies, new innovations are created in the IT laboratory, and a new automated microclimate control system is patented, which is able to adapt to changing conditions and maintain an ideal microclimate indoors. Find out and see for yourself this unique IT device!
- The "mirror" of artificial intelligence (in the Open recreation corner) Determine your age with the possibilities of artificial intelligence. Whether it will reflect reality, find out for yourself!
N.B. No pre-registration is required for the event.

- Transport: by passenger train from the central station "Rīga" to the station "Biznesa augskola Turība" (Jelgava line) or public transport, as well as a free parking space on the territory of the university for private transport.University parking is free during the event.
