The boundaries between different disciplines are disappearing and we would be happy to tear them down completely. Despite individual outstanding achievements, Latvian researchers have yet to be able to shift entire scientific paradigms on their own. For this reason, we are building a model for integrated science – a research and innovation ecosystem that cultivates interactions between different disciplines and institutions, society and academia, business and culture, national and global research.
