What will happen to us?

• Creative workshops will be held.
• Children and young people will have the opportunity to participate in the "School of Young Chemists".
• The bravest will be able to find a way or be rescued from the "Chemistry Escape room".
• For those who would like to treat and strengthen their immunity with herbal teas in the cold winter months, but are not well oriented and are not sure about their effectiveness, we are preparing a master class in which we will make herbal teas, learning the chemical properties, effects and more correct use of each.
• Have you wondered what happens in our body when we eat a pill during treatment? You will be able to walk this path through the human body yourself.
• During the whole evening, there will be talks, there will be an opportunity to ask questions and get answers from real researchers.
• A bright and witty show of chemical reactions will surprise both young and old.

Evening program:

• Tours of different chemistry labs where you will see and learn how new molecules are synthesized in an organic chemistry lab!
• In the Molecules 3D laboratory, with the help of a special computer program, you will be able to see and study how medicinal substances bind to proteins at the molecular level.
• In the biopharmaceutical center, we will show what a pharmacist does in the laboratory on a daily basis. We will offer you to feel the role of medicines and, by following the changes of medicinal substances in the body, find answers to the questions of how, when and why medicines work.
• Performance of chemistry experiments "Chemists joke".
• Molecule creative workshop. To better understand the world of molecules, construct molecules using chemist legos. Also find out how well your nose recognizes scent molecules! And various other creative activities about and around molecules.
• Bioengineering Laboratory (in English). How far has humanity come in “engineering life”? We invite you to look into the microscope!
• School of Young Chemists (limited number of places, registration on site).
• The short version of the "Escape room" game "Chemist through the ages" (the number of places is limited, registration on the spot).
• Herbal tea researchers' workshop: The power of yarrow and raspberry leaves, or an illusion? What to treat colds and coughs? What do chemists say? (number of places is limited, registration on site).
• Two lectures prepared by researchers, because a real master is the one who can tell complex things simply, comprehensibly and excitingly.

• Time and duration of the visit: 18:00-22:00 (the last time visitors enter the institute is at 21:30)
