Latvian Biomedical Research and Study Center

The program of activities at LBMC will include:

• interactive lessons (for example, Organ on a chip puzzle, Protein crystallization workshop, the game Vaccine path - from the laboratory to the clinic, From old bones to new knowledge),
• demonstrations (use of automated high-throughput system "Ethovision" in animal behavior studies),
• lectures (The Mystery of the Code of Life)
• informative posters on current research (eg The Price of Human Evolution: Cancer Rise and Male Fertility Decline)

N.B. You only need to apply for the visit if the group size exceeds 20 people. We also accept groups of students. Arrival time must be arranged in advance.

• Fields of research: Biology, medical basic sciences.
• Time and duration of the visit: 17.00 – 22.00
• Location: Rātsupītes street 1 k-1, Riga, biomed.lu.lv
• Language of the event: Latvian. It is possible to offer one group (up to 20 people) to conduct activities in English, but this must be requested in advance.
