The Staff Exchanges (SE) competition is open, which is one of the annual competitions under the Horizon Europe Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) sub-programme. The deadline for submitting applications for the 2024 competition is February 5, 2025, and the budget is almost 100 million euros.
The MSCA SE scheme provides for a short-term international and intersectoral exchange of employees involved in research and innovation projects. Significantly, employees must return to their sending organizations after the end of the exchange to carry out knowledge transfer. This scheme promotes the development of sustainable collaborative projects between various academic and non-academic organizations in Europe and beyond. Employees involved in the MSCA SE scheme gain new knowledge, skills and career development perspectives, while participating organizations increase their research and innovation capabilities.
MSCA SE projects can last up to four years, with each exchange of staff involved in the scheme lasting between one month and one year.
